Visit the seven lakes: Sant Maurici, Ratera, La Cabana, Les Obagues de Ratera, Gran d'Amitges, Barbs and Munyidera.
This is a highly recommended excursion for enjoying some stunning scenery.
For this trip we have 2 options:
OPTION A: COMBINED (4x4 and walk)
AVAILABLE.
The 4x4 takes us up to the Amitges Lakes (50 min. approx.). On the way back, following the track, we will descend on foot to the Sant Maurici Lake (2 h.), where a 4x4 will pick us up to return to Espot.
Another option to go back is also to take the track of the 4x4 but taking a path to the right, 100 m. from the refuge, towards the Les Obagues de Ratera Lake. At the end of this path we will cross the river by a footbridge to reach the "Mirador de l'Estany" (Lake viewpoint).
From here we will retrace the road until we reach Ratera Lake. Continuing along the track of the 4x4 we will find the junction towards "La Cascada", which will take us to a waterfall of 8 meters. Then, bordering the Sant Maurici Lake, we will reach the 4x4 stop (in total, 3 h. 30 min aprox.) to return to Espot.
This excursion is organized with a minimum of 6 persons; groups are formed at the point of departure, without prior reservation; return tickets are only valid for the same day of issue.
OPTION B: COMPLETE (4x4)
CONFIRM AVAILABILITY
Departure from Espot to Amitges Lakes (50 min approx.). There, we will stop for 20 minutes for sightseeing, and return down to the Ratera Lake where will have a second stop for another 20 minutes. Then, we will go down to Sant Maurici Lake where will do the third and final stop for 20 minutes. After visiting the Lake, we will return to Espot.
